Larry Stewart - Board President
Candy Hammerich - Vice President
Candy was originally from Kansas and eastern Colorado and has lived in this area for over 20 years. Candy and her husband John, a truckdriver for Master Petroleum, share their home with Sophie, a schnauzer who loves to watch TV. Sophie is clever enough to place herself near the remote and whine for a human to turn on the TV. Candy doesn't usually give in to Sophie's pleas, but John is a bit of a softy.
Candy’s introduction would not be complete without telling you how she stays fit, has fun and gets her sunshine-she plays as much golf as possible. She works in the pro shop at Rifle Creek Golf Course and manages the WednesdayLady’s Golf League. Occasionally she may, I say may, hit an errant ball, but she reminds herself, “don't blame the club”.
Candy also has her own accounting business where she specializes in taxes. She takes pleasure in being able to help people stay on top of things, whether it be their taxes or some other life issue.
Maxine Gray
In October I was selected to be on the RHA Board of Commissioners when it went from a 5 to a 7 board members. I am very happy to serve on this board.
A little background; I was born and raised in New Mexico coming to Colorado in 1992. I then lived in Thornton CO for 20 years. My work was in accounting, retiring in 2011. While living in Thornton I served on the Condo Association board where I lived.
I moved to Rifle in August 2012. I have loved every minute I have lived at RHA and find all of the residents to be very friendly and helpful in all aspects. My hat is off to Natalie, our Director and to the Maintenance Department: Mark, Shawnn, Steve and Becky. They all go up and beyond their job to make us comfortable and well cared for.
Your Neighbor, Maxine Gray
